1. Information We Collect

GST Advanced Pro collects the following data from your Shopify store to provide its services:

• Order data: order ID, order number, line items, tax amounts, and totals — used to generate GST invoices.
• Customer data: name, email, billing address, and GSTIN/company name entered at checkout — used to populate invoice details.
• Store data: shop domain and access token — used to authenticate API calls.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate and store GST-compliant invoices for your orders.
• To display invoice history and tax breakdowns in the merchant dashboard.
• To respond to data deletion requests as required by Shopify's data protection policies.

3. Data Storage

All data is stored securely on Railway cloud infrastructure. Invoice data is stored in a MongoDB database accessible only to the app backend. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

4. Data Retention

Invoice and customer data is retained as long as your app is installed. When you uninstall the app, your store's data will be deleted within 48 hours upon receiving an app/uninstalled webhook.

5. Customer Data Requests

We comply with Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks:

• customers/data_request: We will provide all stored data related to a customer upon request.
• customers/redact: We will delete all personally identifiable information for a customer upon request.
• shop/redact: We will delete all data for a shop 48 hours after app uninstall.
